Free games are getting better.
A few years ago I remember playing the video game Team Fortress. It was part of a package you could buy along with Half Life 2 and Portal called the Orange box. All games from a video game Company called Valve. Well, recently Valve announced that you could play the sequel Team Fortress 2 free of charge. Its part of a free service called stream. More or less Stream is basically a platform for gamers to purchase games with a selection of free titles.
Team Fortress 2 is a multilayer (Bots or online), mission based game where you have 9 character classes each with different weapons and specialties. You can play either on the blue team or the red team. Think capture the flag meets "Stratego" with "The Incredibles" visual aesthetic but in a video game setting.
I just spent the last 2 days playing this free title have to say its incredible as far as free titles go. If you have some time to kill and are low on cash then this may be your new favorite title.
