Animated Walking Dead Title Credits
I found this animated walking dead titles by Daniel M. Kanemoto. These credits are no way related to the actual production of the TV show.

The Comic Shop is happy to announce a new news/event/video blog show launching in late August hosted by Eugene Capon. We are still unsure if the show will retain The Comic Shop branding or if it will be changed and simply be presented by The Comic Shop. The Podcast show will continue to be released once a week as scheduled, hosted by Pat Mest and co-hosted by Eugene Capon. The blog will also be updated every 24 to 48 hours continuing the current schedule.

Son of Megatron
so a family recently decided that if 1,000,000 people liked their facebook event, would name their unborn child Megatron after the villain from Transfromers. The estimated due date of the child is October 11th and are currently expecting a boy.

The End of Harry Potter
Its been an amazing ride, hasn't it? Whether you loved the books by J.K. Rowling or just love the film adoptions. Happy Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 has been released, which marks the end of the Saga. We've seen 3 characters from their first year of Hogwarts grow up to see them sending their children off to school in the same fashion. This was a truly fitting end to the story.
In the movie Harry Potter faces his own mortality in the hands of the powerful dark wizard Voldemort. An epic battle of life and death on the grounds of Hogwarts both visually stunning and with character. The only thing I could suggest to make it better was if a kid yelled "Because I'm a Wizard, Bitch" as he drops another magic caster. The students at Hogwarts are heavily out matched in terms of skill and power. teh body shows the deep difference between the two sides. This leads to the end of many of the beloved characters from the previous films. Even with the passing of so many our 3 main protagonist stayed true to the path needed to carry on with Harry being asked to make the ultimate sacrifice.
This movie was worth paying to see and I recommend it to everyone. 4.5/5

"Angry Birds" film in the works
Sounds like those birds are about to get even angrier. That’s right, the hit mobile phone application Angry Birds is getting the film treatment. For those not familiar, the premise of Angry Birds is that some evil pigs have kidnapped the eggs of the birds. Consequently, these birds become very very angry. Unable to cope with this loss, the birds turn retaliation. Via a slingshot they destroy the pigs’ structure, free the eggs and kill the pigs.
My initial reaction to this news was, “Wow, that’s stupid.” However, I realize that that doesn’t matter. That is the essence of Angry Birds. That’s how it starts.
First you hear about it and it sounds kinda stupid.
Then you play it a few times and you’re like “eh, stupid…but entertaining. Good way to kill some time.”
Finally, a few days later it’s, “Ah c’mon! That’s bullshit! Fuckin’ smug pig bastards….”
It hooks you.
Like the game, I somehow expect this movie to work. Why you ask? I’m not sure; lets chalk it up to morbid curiosity. Anyway, I must go. Those birds are not a patient bunch. You might even say, they’re a bit perturbed.

Holodeck may soon be a reality
If your a fan of Star Trek than you most likely know what a holodeck is. A holodeck is a room that allows 3D objects to project in real space. A fantasy every Trekkie wishes they had. Well hold onto your tricorders kids, a company called Larpa (the intelligence community’s advanced research outfit) announced this month that they are working on a synthetic holographic observation (SHO) program. It won't be exactly like the rooms you see on Star Trek but it'll put us one step closer.

5 patriotic heroes in comics
In term of America, the ideal of the hero comes at war time. Here are 5 American heroes that try to uphold those ideals.
1. Captain America
With a movie dropping soon and his image being restored, Captain America is truly comics American son. Steve Rogers was labeled as unfit for war because of his small size during World War II. Through a super Solider program he became on the brink of physical perfection. His shield is made from a mix of vibranium-iron alloy.
2. Uncle Sam
Though he may look like the Uncle Sam from propaganda poster, he is not. Is the resurrected spirit of a Revolutionary War-era soldier who mystically returns in America's various hours of need.
3. The Fighting Yank
Haunted by the ghost of his war of independence ancestor who fights for his country's honor. This is one of the worse costumes I have ever seen a hero wear. He wears a tricorn hat, white shirt with a rippling American flag and green cape.
4. Liberty Belle
Her spiritual connection to the liberty bell gave her superpowers and the ability to fight Nazis.... This character just doesn't make sense to me. What does the liberty bell have to do with Nazis?
5. Bucky Barnes
Seen as a robin-esk character. Captain America's former side kick during WWII. Later goes on to become Winter Soldier and marry Captain America's former girl friend.

Marvel goes anime
We all remember how great American cartoons of our favorite comic book have been. Then there's the anime version of those titles.... With anime you have a vast difference in art direction, story telling and voice acting than you would if those titles had been kept in the American market. Starting July 29th Iron Man, Wolverine, X-Men and Blade will be making its way over to G4 as anime versions of themselves. I haven't decided if this was a good move on G4's part to show these or not.

Seattle is Zombie Capitol
Last week The Comic Shop released an article about Seattle attempting to break the world record for the largest flash mob of zombies and how you can have a better experience participating. This was the third time doing so, trying to take the record from New Jersey. Well, since the July 4th weekend is now over its safe to proclaim that Seattle is once again the zombie capitol of the world. This was done with more than 4,522 participating. Good job emerald city.
